2009-05-10 23:08:37 Fairly dated, but an interesting read. Recommended cage sizes are far below those accepted today, with the recommendation of aquariums which are now regarded as unsuitable. The need to avoid keeping a lone rat is dismissed and pet shops are the sole source of rats mentioned. Some useful advice is included on taming and training rats. —AnnetteRand
