Omnivore

Omnivores (from Latin: omne all, everything; vorare to devour) are species that eat both plants and animals as their primary food source. One of the reasons that wild rats are so successful, and cause so much trouble to humankind, is that they can exist on a diet very similar to the human one. Pet rats need a varied diet, and can benefit from a wide range of foods to provide good Nutrition.
