The Great Adventure

The two small rats peered out through the slits in the carrier into which they had just been placed by a pair of gentle hands and watched as the only home they had ever known grew further away. The scene changed and they smelt the outside air for the first time in their lives; strange and interesting smells wafting by and fading again. In a very short time they were carried into a small, noisy place where doors were slammed and music played. They were being transported to their new life. What would happen next?
